Lullaby Bay is created with rose pink, camel, nougat neutral and jet black threads woven through chocolate brown and natural grass fibres to create a stripe-on-stripe design. The rich chocolate brown cotton fabric trim complements this stunningly classic piece.

Lorna Murray engages in slow textiles production - we do not mass-produce products with factories and we follow a zero-waste design process, as closely as possible.

Instead, all hats and accessories are lovingly hand-woven and handmade by our artisans in our studio. 

As each item is individually handmade, naturally, each hat will often have its own imperfections and slight differences and we love the story that they tell.

Outlet is a selected range of our samples and second stock. 

These products are characterised with slight imperfections. This may include but is not limited to a softer weave, looser weave, a loose thread, missing grass fibre, twisted grass fibre, small dye stains or a discontinued style. 

Being a sustainable brand, we would like our customers to enjoy these hats regardless, rather than them going to waste.

The sunshine visor is a sun visor featuring a long brim with elastic at the back for ease of comfort and size. It is carefully handcrafted from 100% Natural Organic Grass Fibres. 

The Sunshine Sun Visor is the perfect essential sun visor for those wanting an everyday stylish addition to their attire or as a sustainable luxe fashion statement.

Maxi Brim Length: 13.5cm

Midi Brim Length: 10.5cm

Weave: Handcrafted from 100% Natural Grass Fibres.

Trim: Made from a Cotton Blend.

Irregularities in the fibre, weave and colour are common and characteristic of the handmade process.

Care:

  • Always handle your Lorna Murray product with care.
  • When not being worn, store your hat flat, or with the brim folded up.
  • Pulling or tugging too firmly on the brim of the hat may cause ripping. Always be gentle with your hat.
  • If wet, dry away from direct sunlight.
  • A soft brush and mild detergent can be used to remove dust and other stains.
  • Do not crush or bend the grass fibres in your hand.
  • To extend the life of your handmade item, avoid leaving compacted for extended periods of time.
    Summer Hats
    Due to the nature of this handmade piece the sizing is approximate and may vary between our different colour ways and styles, so we recommend using the size guide for the best fit.
       
    How to Measure the Circumference of Your Head:
    Measure the circumference of your head, placing the tape measure around the fullest part of your head where the hat will sit.
